Had a lovely stay at this hotel. Staff were extremely friendly and spoke good English. The waitress Valererly really looked after us, as did the gentleman on reception when we arrived. Everyone seemed happy and had a smile on their face. Would definitely recommend and would stay again. Also, great place to run our dog.

We stayed here as a family for a couple of nights, and it was perfectly adequate. However, it wasn't perfect. The hotel was curiously empty; for part of the time there we felt we were the only guests. Our impression was that this hotel caters more for business guests than tourists, and in August the hotel was almost deserted. We dined in the hotel one evening and the food was superb. The interior of the rooms was a little tired and would benefit from some updating. It was clean and nothing was broken but the paintwork and tiling were looking a bit old. Be aware that this hotel is a 20-30 minute drive from the city centre, so it's not appropriate if you don't have a car
